Our customer had an Aquamax gas storage hot water system. Unfortunately the bottom had completely rusted out in the outer case so it was deemed not viable to repair. Our customer had a large array of PV solar panels so they decided to install a heat pump hot water system.

The Rheem Ambiheat 270 was chosen for this installation. We arranged for the Electrician to run a new dedicated electrical circuit because as the previous system was gas a new power supply was required.

We replaced all associated plumbing valves, installed a tempering valve so the delivered water temperature does not exceed 50 Deg C.

We are registered for the appropriate Government rebates, so the relevant rebates were claimed on behalf of the customer, reducing the out of pocket expense the customer had to pay for the job.
