Our customer had a large gas storage hot water system that was nearing the end of its life.  This was the last gas appliance so once this appliance was installed, the gas account was closed.

Our customer did not want a heat pump and really wanted to go with a smaller electric storage system powered by photovoltaic power (PV).  We supplied a Rheem 160L system with a smaller sized element to cope with the PV system.  Our customer installed a timer so the system only comes on during the day time.

The system delivers 50°C Hot Water to the fixtures inside.
