Replacement With an AquaMAX Gas Hot Water System

The customer’s ageing storage hot water system was approaching the end of its usable life. Instead of waiting for the unit to fail and needing an urgent replacement, they researched their options and arranged a planned upgrade.

After assessing the household’s requirements, they replaced the existing unit with an AquaMAX 390 stainless steel gas hot water system.

Why the Existing Hot Water System Was Replaced

Older storage hot water systems can become less reliable as the tank and internal components deteriorate. Signs that a system may be nearing the end of its life include corrosion, leaking, inconsistent water temperature and increasing energy use.

Planning the replacement before the original unit failed gave the customer time to compare their options and select a suitable system without the pressure of having no hot water.

If your current unit is showing signs of deterioration, The Hot Water Man can inspect it and advise whether hot water system repairs are worthwhile or replacement is the more practical option.

Installing the AquaMAX 390

The AquaMAX 390 was selected as the replacement for the old storage unit. It features a stainless steel storage cylinder and a five-star energy-efficiency rating, providing a reliable gas hot water solution for the household.

The new unit was professionally connected to the property’s existing plumbing and gas supply. Following installation, the system was checked to confirm it was operating safely and supplying hot water correctly.

Responsible Removal of the Old System

Once the new AquaMAX system was installed, the ageing steel tank was removed from the property. The old unit was disposed of responsibly, with recyclable materials separated where possible.

Removing the old unit as part of the installation provided the customer with a complete replacement service and left the area ready for continued use.
