Most changeovers can be often done the same day Mon to Fri and quite often we are doing installations on Saturdays.
If your system has burst and is leaking water, turn off the energy source. If it’s electric there should be a labelled switch in the switch board. If it’s gas there should be a quarter turn tap that you can turn off. Then turn the water off to the system.Â

We have six common installation jobs in our specials pages. Many of our gas installations are in the first 3 specials.
These are standard changeover installations, most are normally completed in around a 3 hour time frame and on most occasions you will have hot water by the time we have packed up and loaded the old system into our van.
Quick supply, deliver & install
If you have an electric system and it is outside then we can generally change this over the same day as well. We will also arrange the electrician. Our number 6 special is a good starting point as there are many electric combinations available. To speed up the process it can be helpful if you send us a photo of the tank and data label if it is still visible. We need to see how much power your system uses. For example this might state 3600 Watts or 3.6kW. Then we need to know how many elements the system has. This can be usually done by seeing how many protruding element covers are on the system. Most are only single, however some can have two elements.
We supply, deliver, install and take the old unit away.
Our urgent hot water page is for customers who were generally happy with their current system and just want a similar replacement to get them back to having hot water and with minimum fuss or maybe while we are at it, a simple upsize in system capacity.
